Top Rated Attractions:
Manatee Lagoon (5-minute drive):
Manatee Lagoon, an FPL Eco-Discovery Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, offers a unique educational experience focused on manatees and their habitat in the Lake Worth Lagoon. Opened in 2016, the 16,000-square-foot facility features interactive exhibits, including a Seagrass Nursery, Seagrass Aquarium, and a lionfish exhibit.
The primary attraction is the manatee viewing areas, particularly active during manatee season from November 15 to March 31, where these gentle creatures gather in the warm-water outflows from the adjacent Riviera Beach Next Generation Clean Energy Center. The center also offers daily tours by Manatee Masters, educational programs, and special events like "ManateeFest" and "Mia's Spooktacular Halloween Party", which aims to educate the community about manatees and the importance of conservation.

Phil Foster Park (10-minute drive):
Phil Foster Park in Riviera Beach, Florida, is a hotspot for both aquatic and land-based activities. Situated in the Lake Worth Lagoon under the Blue Heron Bridge, the park is known for its diverse ecosystems and recreational opportunities. One of the park's highlights is the Phil Foster Park Snorkel Trail, an 800-foot-long artificial reef constructed from over 600 tons of Anastasia rock boulders and concrete modules designed to resemble marine sponges and corals. This snorkel trail, located in 6-10 feet of water, is home to a vibrant array of marine life, including sea horses, octopus, and various tropical fish species.
In addition to snorkeling, Phil Foster Park is popular for scuba diving, especially around the Blue Heron Bridge, where divers can explore the underwater habitats and encounter species like Caribbean reef squid and juvenile manatees. Fishing is another favored activity, with several designated fishing areas and piers offering the chance to catch mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, sheepshead, and wahoo.

Okeeheelee Park (25-minute drive):
Okeeheelee Park, spanning over 1,700 acres, is a diverse recreational haven that seamlessly blends natural landscapes with a multitude of activities. At the heart of the park is the Okeeheelee Nature Center, which offers over 2.5 miles of trails through 90 acres of preserved pine flatwoods and wetlands. Here, visitors can encounter local wildlife such as gopher tortoises and osprey while exploring the Butterfly Garden and marsh viewing blinds.
The park's extensive trail system includes the 4.6-mile Pinehurst Trail, perfect for hiking and mountain biking, and an 8-mile network of bicycle paths. Runners can enjoy a 1-mile fitness trail equipped with 20 exercise stations, while horseback riders can visit the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center – featuring a 9-mile equestrian trail with viewpoints such as the Lake View Point and the Pine Flatwoods Overlook.
Okeeheelee Park also caters to a variety of sports and recreational activities. It boasts a championship 27-hole golf course, a BMX track, and water skiing lakes. The Pooch Pines Dog Park is a favorite for pet owners, offering separate areas for large and small dogs. Additionally, the park includes amenities like disc golf, picnic areas, playgrounds, and tennis courts, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Lion Country Safari (30-minute drive):
Lion Country Safari, located near West Palm Beach, offers an unique experience combining a drive-through safari and a walk-through amusement park, spread over 600 acres and hosting more than 1,000 animals. The drive-through safari is the main highlight, divided into 5 distinct habitats that represent different parts of the world.
Get ready explore Las Pampas, where you can encounter South American animals such as llamas and rheas, and Ruaha National Park, which showcases African wildlife like zebras and wildebeests. Kalahari Bushveldt is home to ostriches and warthogs, while Gir Forest features Asian species including the Nilgai antelope. The Serengeti Plains is a notable section, offering sightings of lions, white rhinos, and chimpanzees.
The park also features an extensive array of attractions in the walk-through area. The Safari World Adventure Park includes various rides such as the Safari Queen, a pontoon boat ride that glides along the park's waterways, giving passengers an up-close view of animals like antelope and waterfowl in their naturalistic habitats. The Safari Splash Water Park is a perfect spot for cooling off, featuring 23 interactive water features, small slides, and dump buckets.
For a more hands-on experience, visitors can interact with animals in the Petting Zoo and observe exotic species in the Reptile House including pythons, iguanas, and tortoises.

Henry Morrison Flagler Museum (10-minute drive):
The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, also known as Whitehall, is a stunning representation of America's Gilded Age located in Palm Beach, Florida. Built in 1902 as a wedding gift from Henry Flagler to his wife, Mary Lily Kenan Flagler, this 75-room, 100,000-square-foot mansion was described by the New York Herald as "more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world."
A highlight is Flagler's private Railcar No. 91, a fully restored luxury railcar that emphasizes the pivotal role of railroads in Florida's development. Among the museum's notable historical items are Flagler's Yacht Alicia artifacts, personal items from Flagler's office, and a collection of photographs and documents that detail his extensive impact on Florida's infrastructure development, including the Florida East Coast Railway.
Temporary exhibitions vary and have included "Alphonse Mucha: Master of Art Nouveau," which showcases works by the renowned artist, and "Bicycles: Technology That Changed the World," exploring the societal impact of bicycles. Other notable exhibits have featured the evolution of women's fashion, historic footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection, and artifacts from the American West.

🐜 Embracing Nature: Florida's tropical climate can occasionally invite small bugs, especially during the warmer months or after rain. While we uphold a high standard of cleanliness, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed when not in use and bringing insect repellent if you're sensitive to insects.

🔥 Grill & Propane: A propane tank is provided with the grill, however guests are responsible for propane during their stay. We do not guarantee a full tank at check-in. If you run out, we're happy to reimburse the cost of a refill — simply send us a screenshot of the receipt.
